Welcome to the Central, MD, STAR Touring and Riding Association Chapter #262 web site. The Central, MD Chapter #262 of the STAR Touring and Riding Association is a family oriented motorcycle riding enthusiast group. STAR Touring and Riding is the official organization of Yamaha created for the Star Line of motorcycles. However, we welcome any brand and any motorcycle enthusiast who shares our same interest in riding and promoting safe and enjoyable motorcycling.
We plan at least one organized ride every month from March through November. Our website has details on our sanctioned chapter rides as well as other rides scheduled throughout the month. We also plan other events for members, families and friends. Go to our Chapter Events for more information on our upcoming events.
Our chapter rides never include "tavern runs", and consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited before and during any chapter rides. We want to see you back safely for the next ride. If you are looking for a family motorcycle association with pride, spirit and camaraderie without the "attitude", you have found the right organization.
STAR Touring and Riding Association
STAR is an international organization which was created to serve owners and enthusiasts of the Star line of motorcycles including the Royal Star Venture, Royal Star, Royal Star Tour Deluxe, Road Star, Road Star Warrior, V Stars, Roadliner, Stratoliner, Raider, Raider S and Stryker.
